Doing a little thought experiment, so hear me out. Every time you spend any money (products or services) you’re essentially deciding which companies earn the right to shape our future. Think about that. Your wallet serves as the interviewer charged with determining which companies measure up or risk shutting down.
So here’s my question. If you’re responsible for that interview panel, what would need to be on a company’s resume to earn your business?
Examples:
• 5% of profits reinvested in sustainable R&D
• Living wage guaranteed across the supply chain
• Published annual social & environmental impact report
• Company-wide 4-day workweek policy
• Active community investment program

And there’s many ways that they can accomplish that. But those are the attributes that we would want to see on their resume before we ever agree to buy their products.
Let me know what you think.
